Overview
Ricardo “Richey” Fraga represents developers and institutional lenders in a broad range of real estate matters, with a particular focus on the sale, acquisition and financing of commercial properties such as office buildings, apartment buildings, industrial parks and retail shopping centers. He also provides representation in connection with a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing and property development.
Richey is also a member of the firm’s LATAM & International practice group and has advised clients from Latin America regarding various real estate matters in the U.S.
Prior to joining the firm, Richey worked in the Commercial Real Estate department at an international law firm in Miami, Florida.

- Represented buyer in connection with a $90,000,000+ purchase of a luxury residential community located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Represented buyer in connection with a $40,000,000+ purchase and development of a multi-family rental project located in Miramar, Florida.
- Represented borrower in connection with acquiring a $45,000,000+ loan to build a medical office building located in Aventura, Florida.
- Represented a borrower/buyer in connection with a $30,000,000+ purchase of an industrial warehouse located in California.
- Represented a borrower/buyer in connection with a $30,000,000+ purchase of an industrial warehouse located in Washington State.
- Represented various financial institutions in connection with numerous commercial real estate loans for the acquisition, development and construction of (i) single family and multifamily home developments, (ii) condominium projects, (iii) retail centers, (iii) apartment buildings and (iv) office buildings.
